Hi, i ve been having very light periods which last a day or two and use only one pad or panty liners. Hid hysteroscopy to ensure no damage in uterus came back ok. Yesterday, period came after really painful cramps but only lasted a day and only used one pad which wasn t full. Went to see a doc today and they prescribed primolut 5 mg (3times a day for 10 days) then go for IVF on 2nd day of period. will period come considering i bled yesterday?
There are many factors that may cause light periods like anemia, thyroid issues, hormonal problems, stressful lifestyle, emotional/ physical stress, etc. If you have regular periods though light you should not be bothered. It will not effect pregnancy. Take home made well balanced diet.
Take food rich in iron, calcium & protein. Take iron supplements. Get clinically examined by a Gynae to detect any pathology causing the symptoms so that the treatment can be started at the earliest. Yes, you should take the prescription medicines given by your treating doctor. Yes, after the course of Primolut-N 5mg is complete you will get periods.
