What Does Gestational Sac Measured 12.2 Mm And Yolk Sac 3.6 Mm Indicate?
I have retroverted uterus am 6 weeks 5 days pregnant. When I went for eraly preg scan 3 days back (6w+2d) the doc could find only gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole or cardiac activity.My hcg level that day was 8941 mIU/ml.Gestational sac measured 12.2 mm and yolk sac 3.6 mm.The doc said the growth was corresponding only to 5W3D and asked me to repeat the scan after 2 weeks. Is my situation normal? My LMP was 31.10.2011 and had IUI on 15.11.2011.

Non visualization of fetal parts may be due many reasons like missed abortion,early gestation,excess maternal fat etc.
Treatment plan depend upon follow up findings.
