What Does Bulky Uterus With Thickened And Mildly Heterogeneous Endometrium Indicate?

Hi, I'm naren my mom(46 years old) is suffering with continous bleeding since 2 weeks. She is a widow. My father expired 22 years back. We consulted the doctor and get her scanned at St. John's medical college, Bangalore...
Scanned report says as follows
UTERUS: "The uterus is bulky and measures 10.7 * 5.3 * 6.4 cms. There are no focal lesions. The endometrial thickness measures 13 mm, thickened and mildly heterogeneous. The cavity is empty."
OVARIES: The right ovary measures 2.7 * 1.8 cms
The left ovary measures 3.6 * 1.8 cms.
Both ovaries are normal
No adnexal lesions noted.
POD is free.

IMPRESSION:
Bulky uterus with thickened and mildly heterogeneous endometrium.

Hello

Mildly heterogeneous endometrium may be due to both reasons,benign or malignant.
Biopsy should be done for confirming its nature.
Proper treatment depend upon histopathology reports.
Uterus is also enlarged in size.
Other findings are within normal limit.Both ovaries are normal.POD is also normal.
You should consult your gynecologist.
