What Do Tremors In The Hands Indicate?

I have had uncontrolled shaking of my hands for as long as I can remember (my granddaughter who is 16 experiences the same thing). Lately, it has been progressively getting worse to where I can t write and if I do, I can t read my writing. Sometimes, I feel as if I am shaking internally as well. Today, I used a screwdriver to do some curtain rod hanging and had a hard time getting the driver into the screw because of shaking.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

Do a clinical examination by your Doctor[neurologist] and to confirm it your doctor will give you medication [carbidopa-levodopa] and you need to take it for at least 30 days and to rule out any other pathological disorder do MRI scan.

Do follow lifestyle modification like this -

1)Do take OTC medication [coenzyme Q10]regularly

2)Discuss with your physiotherapist for a specific exercise plan.

3)Do yoga and meditation regularly which may reduce stress and pain and improve your sense of well-being.

4)Do take caffeine, green tea and do regular aerobic exercise.

Hope that helps
