What Do Swelling And Inflammation On The Forehead Indicate?

I have increasing areas of redness and swelling on my forehead and eye. I also have what feels to be a swollen gland in my throat on the same side of my face as the redness and swelling. Additionally my opposite to the swollen side arm felt hypersensitive last night. Any ideas what this is or what I can do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This swelling and inflammation you explain seem to be an allergic reaction. I think you should immediately have an appointment with your doctor so he may prescribe medications such as cetirizine, loratadine and be observed if symptoms persist or getting worse. Also avoid the trigger that has caused hypersensitivity arm last night, always if you know the trigger.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suzana Zharri,
