What Do Stomach Pain And Peeling Lips Indicate?

Hi, I have been taking Fluoxetine 20mg for a week. I have had stomach upset and a headache at times, but the other symptom is sore, peeling lips. Is the latter more of a concern (less common side effect, or a sign that something is wrong) or is it just a minor short term thing that will alleviate? Thanks.

The symptoms given by you may be the side effects of fluoxetine. As these drug is known to cause dryness of mouth as well. To over come this you should have plenty of water and you be relieved to some extent. Put moistener on your lips to save it from dryness.You have not mentioned what type stomach upset.Your drug is known to cause dyspeptic symptoms. Adding more drug for side effects may worsen your problems.But you can try pantoprazole & domperidon combination once a while.If constipated add laxatives at night.
