What Do Spongy Feeling Under The Ribs With Painful Breathing Suggest?

I coughed and I felt something tear. Now I have pain on my left side, just under my ribs and toward the back. It feels spongy and bubbly when I lay down and hurts with every breath in any position. Eating a meal makes it worse. Standing helps ease the pain

I really appreciate your concern, such cough bout could be due to hyperacidity and it can be well managed with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg" once in day, avoid spicy food, coffee, alcohol, and smoking prior to bed, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
