What Do Red Spots On The Foot Indicate?

Hi. I have red spots on one foot, followed by peeling skin. It is not painful or itchy. In fact, if I didn t see it, I wouldn t know it s there. This has been going on for a couple of months. Recently I have the same peeling on the palms of my hands and a couple of fingers. No red spots on the hands, though. Ideas?

Hello,

It could be Petechiae which are appearing on foot and hands. If you have any blood coagulation disorder, then this kind of Petechiae purpura is common.

Kindly get your blood test done. Bleeding Time, clotting time, PT, APTT, INR all will indicate the coagulation status.

Get your peripheral smear done to know the complete hemogram picture of your blood and if any condition is diagnosed then treatment will solve all your problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
