What Do Red Bumps On The Vaginal Opening Indicate?

I have tiny red bumbs by my vaginal opening, on the inner labia, and I have a septate hymen that is also red. It s very itchy but no unusual discharge or trouble peeing. I am a virgin and have never had any sexual contact. What could be the cause of this?

Possible causes of red, itchy bumps on vagina in a virgin may include:
-folliculitis which are ingrown hairs that occur most often after shaving.
-STIs like herpes, syphilis...intercourse isn’t the only sexual activity that can put you at risk for STIs.If you’ve had any unprotected sexual contact (like fingering, oral sex, etc.) with someone who is infected, there is a chance that an STI might have been transmitted to you.
-Local vaginal infection
-Vaginal/labial irritation.
All these point are for you to consider.I will however suggest you see your Doctor for examination.
