What Do Rashes On The Legs While Suffering From Fever Indicate?
My daughter is 16 months. She had a fever of 100-101 the past two days. Last night she woke up crying several times. Today the fever is gone, but now she has a rash on her ankle and leg (just 1 leg). The rash is a silver dollar size red area with little white dots. She has about 4 of these spots.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic .
Please see that 4 rash lesions on just one leg, only points to some insect bite. Wait for a 3 or 4 hours, if the rash is related to fever the lesions will appear on other leg or chest or back of child and fever will come again. If this happens, then take your child to local doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
But if lesions do not increase over 3 or 4 hours and fever does not appear again then you need not worry again .
Take Care
