What Do Rashes On The Cheeks Indicate?

Hello, about 6 days ago I got a rash on my cheeks that seemed to just be red. I assumed it was sunburn because I have sensitive skin even though I had been wearing sunscreen and not outside for long. But when I woke up the next morning my face was swollen and my cheeks feel like sandpaper. I ve tried a couple different moisturizers as well as pure aloe and it burns and gets worse. Any ideas on how I can fix it or what it is?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction. Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Take oral antihistamines daily.
-Use calamine lotion for local relief.
-If you don't get better take prescribed corticosteroids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
