General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As a physician, I would like to tell you that if you are sexually active and using some kind of contraception as OC pills, you have nothing to worry about getting pregnant. Secondly, doing Pap smear test every 6 months is necessary after 40 years of age. And lastly, after 40, as you nears menopause, your menstrual cycle duration and timing fluctuates so you have nothing to worry about.

Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question. Have a nice day.

Regards,
Dr. Abhijeet
