What Do Lumps In The Breasts Indicate?

I have been on Estradiol, 1mg, & Prometrium 200mg, for about 16 months. I had a complete hysterectomy in 1992. I have no noticeable lumps in my breasts, but they tend to be sore most of the time now that I am on the hormones. Do you think the progesterone dosage should be lowered?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Actually breast tenderness is due to estrogen hormone (Estradiol). Consult your doctor if reduced does is ok in your case reduce it. You can also take Vit. E Capsule one a day for a month.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
