What Do Lower Backache And Swelling In The Groin Area Indicate?

I have been passing blood and had terrible pain in left side lower back. I have a swollen vein on left side going to my groin. I went to my primary physician and he referred me to a urologist. I am on 1600 mg Bactrim and something for pain. I m feeling better today. The nausea has subsided too. The vein is still slowwen. I felt it while showering. It starts bulging low left side to my private area. What is this? A vein or something leading from my kidneys?

it's urinary tract infection, with lymph node enlarged (which you identified during shower).if bactrim doesn't work well, you may have to take higher antibiotics.... don't worry....
