Hello and welcome to HCM,
There are many types of liver enzymes and each liver enzyme is elevated in a specific condition.
A viral infection associated with elevated liver enzymes is suggestive of hepatitis caused by hepatotrophic virus.
Common hepatotrophic viruses are hepatitis A,B,C,D and E. Other hepatotrophic viruses are Epstein Barr virus, CMV etc however, they are less common that hepatitis A, B, C, D and E.
The downward trend of liver enzyme is suggestive of recover from infection and response to treatment.
For further details, you need to post the type of liver enzyme elevated and the type of viral infection in liver.

Thanks and take care
