What Do Benign Cellular Changes Mean In The Following Pap Smear Result?

hi...what is a benign cellular changes.? my pap smear results stated that I have infection, predominance of coccobacilli consistent with shift in vaginal flora? how to treat it and what is the easy way to treat this kind of infection? I wish you can help me...thank you

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Benign cellular changes means that you have chances in cellular structure of cervix or vaginal mucosa, but these are not cancerous changes. There is also predominance of round bacteria, which are not found in normal vaginal flora.
Most common cause of benign cell change are sexually transmitted infections, repeated trauma to mucosa, etc. You will now need antibiotic ointment which would be used vaginally. There may be antibiotics given orally.
