What Diet And Medication Is Recommended For Frequent Urination?

I went to a urologist because I pee at least 8 times a day and he said that I am retaining urine in my bladder. Has of right now he said my options are medicine or a diet. I was wondering if there are any other options that I could consider even like adult diapers.

Hello,

I think you can try food that doesn't trigger frequent urination. Try not to use alcohol, coffee, tomato etc.
Using lots of fluids and water and especially cranberry juice or tea is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
