What Could The Moveable Lump Near Trapezius Muscle Be?

Hi, I have a hard but moveable lump around the size of a marble which is situated on the front of my trapezius muscle (in the dip near your shoulder and clavicle) I have had it at the least 3 years seeing as that is the first time I noticed it. Around that time was when my chronic muscle tension began, could it be linked to that?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I have studied your case and ai think it is either a lipoma or a enlarge lymph node. Since it is present from long time it is not a rapidly growing .I would recommend you to get a ultrasound examination or a needle test to confirm the diagnosis. If it is lipoma than there is no need to be scared as it can be left alone. If you want than it can be excise also. For lymohnodes nothing has to be done.
I hope this answers will be useful for you . let me know if there is any other follow up questions.
Thanks
