What Could The Bug On The Head Be If Not Lice?

Um hi today I felt something strange on my head and I found a small grey bug, I researched it and its not lice. I m not sure what it was though. It had a strange pattern too maybe to blend with rocks or something? Do you know any particular reasons it would be on my head and what it was?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having piedra infection.
My treatment advice is -
1. It is a fungal infection of hair.
2. Apply an antifungal lotion like clotrimazole lotion twice daily affected region.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
