What Could Sore Throat, Headache, Swollen Jaw And Lymph Nodes Indicate?
I began having a sudden sore throat Sunday afternoon and its getting worse every day. My head hurts, I get the chills and I m very achy. My jaw is sore it hurts to open my house I feel very swollen around my jaw. My ear hurts on the same side as my throat that hurts and my lymph nodes are swollen on that side. It hurts to swallow and I am very droolish. Know what it could be?
Hi, Seeing the symptoms it seems that you might be having, 1, severe upper respiratory tract infection leading to enlarged tender lymph nodes. 2, acute infection in your parotid gland or duct. Both conditions can give rise to fever with chills, pain during opening mouth and radiating pain in ear and swollen lymph nodes. Consult your doctor. You might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines. Ok and take care.
