What Could Recurring, Slightly Painful Bump In Groin Area Oozing Out Pus When Squeezed Indicate?
So one day randonmy a bump appeared in my groing area. It was small and then got bigger. I squeezed it and poked it and it kind of hurt and some puss came out. Then it got smaller but never went away. Then more showed up and same thing happened. Expcet this one right above my penis did end up going away completely. The first one to occur just recently got big again. I want so say its been there for 3 months. It usually only takes a couple of days for the bump to go down. Should i get it checked out?
Skin infections sometimes end up in pus as boils or furuncles that will end up giving inflammatory signs. Once the infectious agent has not been removed the process over and over with extension to other parts of the body. So go diagnostic screening for which infectious agent is responsible is gold standard. Most often it is skin bacterial infection with hygiene as etiologic origin thus specific antibiotic for most skin germs is necessary
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the bacterial infection, in the nearby area, and due to that there will be the swelling of the lymph glands, and one more gland which is connected. It needs to be incised, and drained completely, and medicines to be used for clearing of the bacterial infection. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, serratia peptidase, diclofenac sodiumand paracetamol. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
