What Could Painless Discoloration Under The Nails Of Toes Be Indicative Of?
I have discoloration on my right big toe under the nail which is not caused by something falling on my foot. Now my left big toe is starting to discolor in the same way. There is no pain associated with the discoloration. What could it be? and should I see a doctor about it?
I have read your presenting complaints... Please give a little more information discoloration as if which color your toe is it white or black because both things indicate different diagnosis.. If the discoloration is black which means gangrene is going to b set in so it's better do the following things 1. A doppler usg dhould be done for lower limbs to check for deep vein thrombosis or any ischemia of the lower limb arteries. 2. You should consult a doctor to be specific a Orthopedics
Thanks
Regards Dr Varun
