What Could Fibroids In The Uterus With Large Mast In The Ovary Suggest?

I have a mast on my right ovary. It measures 9.4 , like the size of an orange I think. I had a pap smear, and a ultrasound, because I had some bleeding which led to a D&C.Approx 3month later I fell which led my doctor to give me an xray. The doctor saw a couple of small fibroids in the uterus, but also saw a large mast on the right ovary. I went back to the doctor who had just did an ultrasound and D&C and she said it was not there. For it to grow so quickly, I thought it was there, but possibly was missed. I had a blood test to check my C125, it was not elevated. What now?

Hi,

An ultrasound scan can detect all the problems of ovary and uterus. So I suggest you get a USS at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
