Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Ethmoidal and maxillary sinuses are paranasal air sinuses which are spaces adjacent and around the nose. This are usually open air filled cavities but can develop inflammation and infection leading to sinusitis which also causes frequent headaches in some people. In your MRI scan it is observed that the ethmoidal and maxillary sinuses on both sides are showing slight mucosal thickening due to infection. Sinusitis is treated by short duration of medications in most people. Sinusitis without symptoms like headaches and nasal block do not require any treatment.
