Hi. I recently visited a gum clinic with a rash on my penis. I was really worried as 6 months previously id had a risky sexual encounter and although was negative for anything at 3 months was worried it had been a delayed reaction. Everything came back clear and the doctor said it was balinitis from being too clean. A few weeks later my rash came back with severe itching of my urethra and anal itching. My urine has white strings in it as does my faeces. I returned to the doctor who said I had thrush so I began applying canestan. The results came back negative although the itching did subside. Its now 4 weeks on and im still passing white strings and getting pain in my abdomen when urinating or defecating.
