Hi,

According to your question I am asking that you want to ask about the possible discoloration of the labia minora. The color and shape of the labia minora may vary from person to person. Some women may have dark color that may not be considered as discoloration.

If you are not having any associated symptoms like itching, burning, discharge, etc., the color can be considered as physiological only and you may not need any specific treatment. Using a vaginal wash with pH between 3.5 to 4.5 can help in maintaining the healthy local vaginal flora and in maintaining personal hygiene.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
