What Could Cause Tingling Feeling In Hands And Feet And A Weird Feeling On The Head Aster A TIA?
About 15 months ago I suffered a traumatic head injury. A couple of months later I had a TIA which slightly affected my gait. Sometimes I have difficulty walking properly which i turn causes hip and leg pain on the left side. I have also had blurry vision. Over the last couple of months I have constant wierd feeling on the right side of head (temple area). Lately I have been feeling unbalanced, tingling in my hands and feet. When I went to see the doctor she said that maybe my nerves are healing(???) Please help me to try and determine what course of action I should be taking but I cannot seem to get any diagnosis. Thanks Gina
Thanks for a detailed description. Are you on any anti-epileptic medicines like Phenytoin, etc. When was the last CT scan or MRI done of your brain? The report would be helpful. Have you gotten a Doppler study done of your Caroitd arteries, that would help. The symptoms are most likely effects of the TIA which the CT/MRI would pick up. Feel free to ask more once you have the above reports with you. Take care.
