A few months ago I had to report to the firing range to quailfy with three weapons that are required to perform my job. In one of the course of fire I had to knee and discharge my weapon. To my surprise I could not stand up by myself. I reported this system with my Medicial care provider and he sent me to get x-rays of both my knees. I will be turning 60 years old nver had this problem. What would you recommend? I am wiating for my insurance to approve an appointment with a Chiropractier..
It could be knee synovitis or ligament injury or knee arthritis. I would recommend you to get x ray of knee before going to chiropractic treatment. If it shows decrease in gap in joint than you should see a Orthopedic surgeon. He may advice you pain killer, physiotherapy, steroid injection. Also till you see your doctor, apply hot water, take brufen and apply diclofenec ointment.
