What Could Blood Soaked Tissue Discharge With Continuous Bleeding Indicate?
Hi Doctor, I am 19 Years old and yes I would like to admit that I Have been sexually involved with my boyfriend. I had my periods the post Christmas week, and lasted for about 5-6 days. However, when I woke up yesterday morning(20th January), I bled again and I am bleeding since then. Also as I am sitting, I feel as if a gush of blood coming out which is normal I know, But when i check myself in the wash room there s this big blood clot that looks like a tissues soaked it blood. It is very jelly like and deep red. It s about 2 inches. This has happened even before(early december) my last period. I am very worried. Please help me.

This could be an implantation bleeding or bleeding due to ovulation , you need to do a Urine pregnancy test if periods get delayed by more than a week to ten days.Implantation bleeding typically defined as a small amount of light spotting or bleeding that occurs about 10 to 14 days after conception is normal. Implantation bleeding is thought to happen when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus. Kindly visit your gynaecologist for ruling out pregnancy or miscarriage.
