What Could Be The Reason For Having Constant Pain In My Knees?

I had my ACL replaced back in 1991 at the age of almost 17. I am about to turn 40 this month. The problem I have is constant pain in that knee. Some days are worse than others . The pain use to go away now it doesn t . Should I go through the trouble of getting it looked at .?I ask because I think it may be arthritis . To walk up an incline use to cause the pain now flat ground or just sitting the pain is constant.

Hi
I think you should get x ray of knee done ti see for early arthritic changes.
And if in x ray you have arthritic changes you should start cycling along with not to sit on floor nor in squatting poition.
And take mild analgesic and do quadriceps exercise.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
