What Could Be The Reason For Cottony Feeling In Throat With Brownish Discoloration After Using Nasonex And Listerine Mouthwash?
Good Afternoon/Evening,
I am a 47 year old female who has recently changed my nasel spray to nasonex. I have also change my mouthwash to Listerine Total Care Plus Whitening. I now have a cottony feeling in the back of my mouth/throat area, a brownish discoloration which seems to be on top of a white discoloration on my tongue (also toward the back, but also down the sides toward the front where is lessens. Not sure if either are related to this or causing it. But I'm not sure what is going on with my tongue. Can you help?
Hello, thank you for consulting with healthcaremagic. As you have mentioned that you have noticed a white spot on the tongue, there can be many reasons for the spot, It can be an allergy It can be trauma It can be an ulcer It can be other reasons also but as you are saying that you have noticed this spot after you have changed your nasal spray to nasonex it can be because of nasonex also as it has the side effect of causing white lesion in the mouth and dryness. So it will be better for you that you should visit your physician and tell him about the side effects and also get it examined. if he will feel like he will change your medication.
