What Could Be The Reason For Brown Discharge?

hi! I ve had Mirena inserted for about two months now. After sex, I experienced moderate bleeding, on more than one occasion. Afterwards, I ve been experiencing a light, but much noticed, brown discharge that ranges from thick to watery in consistent cy. I ve had this for around three weeks, along with a UTI. Is this normal or what could be the reasoning behind this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it appears to be the Pelvic infection, either before the insertion, or during or after the insertion. It also may be due to the anemia.
I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I Usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms fluconazole, cifixime, ornidazole, and hematinics.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
