What Could Be The Reason For A 5 Year Old Having Convulution After Taking Meftal-p Syrup?

Sir..
We have given Meftal-P Syrup without looking the fever with thermometer for 5 years old boy... after one hour he suffered with One episode of Convolutions... consulted doctor and she gave Frisium-5mg Tablet... after coming home we have checked the fever and it was 95 F...what could be the reason?

Thanks for asking query on health care magic.
Meftal-P syrup does not cause convulsions.
It is given to control temperature.
Children between 6 months to 6 years develop convulsions at the height of fever.(febrile convulsions).
The doctor has given the correct medicine.
Convulsions started before the temperature is controlled by Meftal-P.
