It works by blocking the chemical messengers in the brain which tell us we have pain. It should be taken with foods. The dose and duration will depend on what your child is taking it for and how well it helps your baby s symptoms. Your baby should keep taking this medication even he feels better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it. It is a safe and effective medication for children for short time use. Take it as prescribed by your doctor to get the most benefit. Don t take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous.
