What could be the lumps at the place where ankle arthroscopy was performed ?
23 yr old male, 175cm, 75kg. i had an ankle arthroscopy 5 weeks ago the remove bone fragments nd basically clean up the joint beacuse i have sprained it many times in the past. i have been recovering well but had a question. i have lumps on the sites where the arthroscopy was done, underneath the scars. are these bumps just scar tissue or something or are they a problem on their own.
If you feel throbbing pain at that part then it is likely that there may be infection taking place and you consult your orthopedic surgeon for exam and treatment.
If is painless you do not worry as there may be scar or swelling of tissues which will gradually be ok.

I have high back pain in my thoracic vertebra. I have sharp shooting pain and spasms. I pain increases if I move especially if I twist, bend forward, or backwards. Deep breaths which are so tiny back it hurt. I have had back spasms throughout my entire back for the past 3 weeks, ever since I got my hip surgery (femoral head impingement (arthroscopic). The pain occurred this morning after I bent down and came up really fast from putting clothes into the washer. Any ideas what it could be? There is no discoloration, no pain with palpating

Is there any proof that it is unhealthy for an athlete who has a low pulse rate because of aerobic exercise but also has blood pressure of appr. 140/96? I think I'm in excellent health because of my life style but have these symptoms and I've seen that there are many other athletes with the same symptoms. Maybe this is normal for athletes and taking blood pressure medicine for them is unnecessary and even harmful. Could it be that the higher blood pressure in athletes is the body's healthy reaction to an athlete's muscles being in need of more blood?
