Hello for the past to days I have been getting mild stomach cramps and today I think I got my period. Only thing wrong is there is barely any blood just a small bit and what ever it is it is brown and clumpy. My period is due around the 19th I just dont no if this is it because there is barely anything there.
There are many possible causes for stomach cramps, and having your period early is only one possibility. Pregnancy could be another possibility, which might explain the spotting, if it is possible that you are pregnant. Numerous problems unrelated to you period could cause the cramps as well, such as stomach viruses, stomach upset, or many other things. Nausea from the flu, or something that you ate, can also cause it. Infections in your pelvis can cause it as well.
So there is no way to know without doing an exam what the cause is. However, usually, if you can rest and drink fluids and wait a day or two the symptoms should pass and you don't need to worry about it. However, if they get very severe, or if they do not resolve in 1-2 days, you should call your doctor and get it checked out. I hope this was helpful, if you have any more questions, please let me know.
