What Could Be The Cause For Bumps On My Feet And Hands With Liquid Oozing From Them?

I seem to over produce urich acid in my system. I have bumps on hands, feet. I have a substance then comes out the the middle finger between upper skin and fingernail from a large bump on top of finger. Also have two bumps on left foot, one behind big toe and one behind little toe. The little toe bump developed a small hole where the same clear and white substance comes out. They both have the same look and odor. Do I have Panniculitis? I am a type two diabetic with a a1c of around 5.4 to 6.9 with nephropathy in both feet and hands. I am 65 yrs old

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection.

I suggest using an antifungal cream such as Miconazole cream for local application.

I also suggest using Diflucan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
