What Causes Yellow And White Flashes In The Corner Of Eye?

I just began seeing bright yellow/white flashes in the upper right corner of my right eye. Cleaned glasses in case they were dirty. They seemed to be every minute or so for the past hour and seemed to have subsided now. It never happened before. I am 74 and am starting glaucoma and have a caratact starting in my left eye.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

This is usually called an aura and is usually more commonly associated with migraine headaches and even hypoglycemia. If these two are ruled out we can suspect the change on intra-ocular pressure due to the developing glaucoma to be the cause. Please speak to your doctor in detail and discuss the treatment options if this has not already been conducted.

Best wishes.
