What Causes White Patches On Tonsils?

One month ago, I felt like some thing is caught in throat and had while patches on tonsils. Doctor prescribed clavam + hifenac- p. By then symptoms got better. But sill have white patches on tonsils and red bumps in throat with no pain. Went to doctor he diagnosed FTC rec.pharyngitis. what is it? Please elaborate. Bow he prescribed cap reelez- d and telekast- l.

Tonsillitis is an infection of the tonsils caused by an exposure to bacteria or a virus. As the tonsils begin to fight the infection they will produce white pus which will collect in white patches on the flesh.,,since you have already taken antibiotics nothing to worry about it...you can use chlorhexidine gargling...regards...
