General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Your history is very classical of a condition called cyst. There is secretory lining of some gland, say minor salivary gland wherein the opening gets blocked hence the accumulation of saliva and once it ruptures it is seemingly vanished for the time being to reappear. I would advise you the following in such a situation:
- In some cases it gets ruptured and the lining falls off and the problem is cured.
- If this reappears then consult an ENT or Oral Surgeon when it is increased and discuss about complete excision of such a cyst and get histopathology done to be sure about diagnosis and to avoid recurrence.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
