What Causes White Colored Spots Under The Scrotum?

So, the skin under my scrotum has is losing all color. I m getting complete white spots in my skin. The spots are nearly perfect circles anywhere from a circumference of about 2 inches to little specks all over my penis. Should there be any concern? I wear spandex quite often, there s no pain associated with the spots.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You may use some ketoconazole cream locally twice a day for 3 weeks. Fungal infection is a likely cause of white spots and using an antifungal is the first step and generally well tolerated and effective if fungal infection is the cause. If there is no improvement of the color after using the cream, you may need to see your doctor as vitiligo is a possible cause and other treatments may be indicated for this.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
