What Causes Wheezing Along With Excessive Sweating?
My mother age 77 passed away last week at home and she was having weezing sound few mins before she passed away that I could also hear. She went to loo with help of walker and on return she had severe sweat and she collapsed and was not able to breath. Before ambulance could arrive, she passed away and she had froth coming out of her face. She never had compliant of asthma or any other heart trouble. I suspect she was having dry cold with nasal congestion a week before. She was also on steroids for Crohn s disease. What could have happened ?

The first possibility is of heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest. Another possibility is of aspiration.
Both these conditions will suddenly emerge as is in this case. Wheezing doesn't necessarily means asthma. Even cardiac failure or aspiration may cause it.
