Does Levothyroxine Cause Excessive Sweating?

I have excessive sweating, mainly head, everyday. I take thyroid meds for nodules. Could the levothyroxine be causing this or is there other causes of the sweating. I m a retired RN and I have done extensive research on this and cannot find an answer. Please help. Thank you.

Hello,

Excessive sweating is a side effect of Levothyroxine drug. You have to consult your doctor to see of you can take a smaller dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
