What Causes Weird Sensations And Pressure In Arms?
Hi sometimes I get a weird feeling in my arms, it's always both of them at the same time. It feels like a heavy pressure like something is preventing blood getting through and makes me feel strange. Have had this a few times over recent months. It comes on suddenly and I get a strange feeling.

I can understand your concern. Sudden onset episodic weird feelings in arms along with pressure like sensation in arms can occur due to a number of conditions. One most common reason for such weird sensation is some vascular abnormality. Abnormal blood supply while in a particular position may cause similar symptoms but you have these symptoms in both arms so possibility of some vascular lesion is less.
Low vitamin B12 levels can present with similar presentation. Get your B12 levels done to rule out this conditions. Low B12 levels increase the risk of neuritis which can cause similar symptoms. Anxiety is other possible cause for such symptoms. Episodic nature of symptoms along with strange feeling further strengthen the diagnosis. Please visit a psychiatrist for expert evaluation and treatment. Medicines like Pregabalin or Gabapentin can help to reduce such symptoms and can provide the symptomatic relief.
