What Causes Weight Loss Along With Increased Blood Sugar?

Hi, I am 43years old. weight 90. Height 6/F and 1 inch. Before 2 months I was feeling thirst in the night with swear dryness in my mouth. The urine ratio is normal, no issue in night. I check my Fastening and random sugar which was out fastening to 166 and random to 194. It was normal in last week to normal range 113 fastening. Should i start medicine Ammaryl 1mg 1 B D and Glucophage 1 OD or any other.... or get manage diet with walk. Etc Kindly also note that with in one month I loss 4KG weight. I haven’t feel any special change in my body. Can you please also let me inform about the reason of weight loss.

I understand your concern.Your sugar levels looks deranged.May be you are suffering from impaired glucose tolerance.

So,i would advice you to undergo oral GTT (glucose tolerance test) for confirmation of the diagnosis of diabetes.After confirmation,under your physicians guidance you can start on either of the tablets.

The reason for your diabetes is your raised sugar levels.Insulin deficiency in diabetes causes lipolysis and hence decreases the weight.
