What Causes Weight Gain, Tiredness And Feeling Of Excessive Thirst?

I work out 4 days a week and do 5ks every few months. Our family eats healthy most days but we do splurge on things every so often. I have been gaining weight and feel tired all the time. I also can not get enought to during ever! I drink 4-5 gallons of water a day and still always want more. I do not pee as much as I should with that amout of water going in. What doctor should I see for these problems?

Thank you for the question.I would suggest that one should do a charting of food stuff, amount in grams, and calculate calories from diet charts available on net, every day and find out avaerage calory intake. Alsocalculate how much protein, carbohydrate and fats one has consumed daily on average.Depending on physical work out everyday and occupation , burning of extra calories is a must.you may have your blood sugar tested both fasting and post meals, thyroid function tests and complete urine test.Excessive thirst may sometimes occur with diabetes and weight gain with thyroid problems. An average height person with average activity needs about 3000 cals a day.Proper nutrition must include 60-100 gms protein, 400-600 gms carbohydrates and25-50 gms fats per day.Try to avoid butter, and saturated fats and animal fats and substitute with safflower oils/groundnut oil.Avoid pure sugars. Depend moreon vegetablesourceof protein. High fibre carbohydrate diet should be instituted.
