hi,doc m suffering from pcod from last 8 years m vry tensed about this i ve gain my weight 27 kgs. now m worried about my self..now my pressure points are get swelled like ankle and knee..is this curable?if yes then tell me d medication or some steps to loose weight..thanx

pcod is easily amenable to treatment and perhaps the most likely cause of weight gain in your case
metformin is one drug that has a very good role in managing this condition...it helps with weight loss and decreases insulin resistance in your body which would again have an additive effect on losing weight...a gynecologist in your area may advise you what else you can go for...if it was helpful do rate the response and i hope you get well soon
