Hi..Some 2 weeks back, I had watery stools often at abnormal times like while at workplace..2 days back, I am having severe constipation..I live in the UK but I am an Indian..I have been having food rich in fat like Subs, Beacon, Egg with increased frequency that I used to have in India..I suspect this could be fecal impaction..I had a similar problem where stools were very thin and that was some 7 years ago...but it went off on its own within some 20 days..Please advise me..
Constipation could be due diet changed and eating habit, less fiber containing diet and less water intake are the common causes for constipation but it is not due to any disease so need to worry. I would advise to have more fiber containing diet, drink enough of water, avoid eating a full meal but you can eat it in some part within two to three hours, keep the regular habit of going for defecation, even in absence of need. In medicine you can try Isabgol powder (Stool softener), green salad is the best diet if you are suffering from constipation.
