Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. This episode of vomiting needs evaluation. It could be due to

: Head injury leading to chronic subdural hematoma - It usually occurs in elderly, alcoholics, taking anticoagulants (blood thinners). Usually it leads to headache with projectile vomiting, imbalance while walking, forgetfulness.

If you have such type of symptoms, you should consult ER as soon as possible. The doctor might advise CT head to find out it. Symptomatic hematoma needs evacuation by surgery. Meanwhile at home, you should avoid stress, physical work, avoid drugs which can cause sedation.

: Gastritis or abdominal problem - It could be gastritis, reflux disease, enteritis. All these disease have common symptom like abdominal pain or cramps, nausea, vomiting either bitter (bilious) or sour (acidic).

If you have such symptoms, you should
; avoid fatty, heavy, spicy meal
; avoid fast food
; you can take milk to relieve gastritis
; maintain proper sleep routine
; you can take Pantoprazole-Domperidone combination after proper prescription
; you can take acid neutralising syrup like aluminium and magnesium containing syrup after proper prescription
; avoid coffee, tea, chocolate, alcohol
; If still no relief, consult doctor. He might get ultrasound abdomen to rule out abdominal pathology. Further treatment will be decided after its report.

Hope it will help you. Thanks. Take care.
