What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Using Estrace Cream?

I am 55 years old, had a total hysterectomy & ovaries out with posterior repair in October 2016. Using Estrace cream every other night. Yesterday I noticed a small amount of pink blood, looks like it is vaginal but not sure could also be rectal. Haven t had any blood at all for a long time (many months). Can the Estrace cause the bleeding? Thank you.

Hi,

Estrace LR estrogen cream does not cause vaginal spotting. If spotting persist, you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
